Today we published our first article about the Haigh Quarry Archeological Park in Kankakee, Illinois. The well written piece can be found in the “Featured Articles” section of our online magazine. Just click “Featured Articles” on the navigation bar and then click to link and open the article. It is pretty simple! Every month we will have featured articles on a variety of subjects written by authors who are experts in their respective fields.

Roger Barski, President of the National Archeological Group, has written an excellent piece on the concept and development of the new attraction at Haigh Quarry which is the first of its kind at any dive training facility in the country. The Archeological Park is something positively different and exciting than the proverbial sunken “school bus” we find at most other inland dive training sites in the Midwest. Tina Haigh has always been innovative in the development of her facility, and with the help of Roger Barski, she has created something unique and special for the Midwest diving community. Read about it and then come to Kankakee, Illinois to dive it! The weather is warming up let’s get out there and “Just Dive”! www.haighquarry.com
