I have never been to Cancun but I would suggest you take the ferry across to Cozumel and try some of the drift diving along that islad. I would also suggest Dive with Martin as the dive operator. www.divewithmartin.com

Have you gone down lately?

Can't go wrong with Coz, and there are a zillion ops to choose from. You might see if your hotel or tour op can hook you up.

No problem, Apple vacations, all-inclusive. best food, everything new, best shows, and under the water with people from dive shopfrom resort ,( no diving with other dive shops from city),  sharks, dolphins, all kind of fishes, and more, we have over 400 pictures, and dvd's. after your trip, tell me how you like this place. best wishes.

There is no real pressing reason to go all inclusive in Cozumel.  The town of San Miguel has lots to offer, including cheap good food and reasonable accomodations.  The town is worth the trip in itself.  You have to get used to the ways of the Plaza, but that's all part of it.

Trying restaurants in San Miguel and exploring the town are half the fun. Unless it's really your thing, skip the all-inclusives.
