Who is going or has been to the Bonne Terre Mine in MZ? We have a trip planned 3/15 and was curious to see if anyone going down there is on?

Unfortunately I am not going on this trip but i hear from Capt. D that many olfriends are going Dan Schmidt is bringing his wife and daughter. Scott albrecht and Karl Knoershield is coming> Steve Tisinai as always and Cheris Anderson for his third or fourth time. I also understand about 4 or 5 new students are going there to train. That must be you Mr. Saint.

Yep - I am going once again. I do love that place. I just wish it was a little closer. I'm sure this will be another great trip. The only bad thing about taking trips with Darrick is... well... Darrick!!! HA! Just remember to tell Darrick how much you have outgrown him!

I will have to bring my bee pollen and vitamins so Steve can keep up with me. He was a dive buddy of someone who said he out grew me and the the 190 foot dive turned into a cluster. Steve had to abort. Good luck this time on the 4th set of trails Steve,hope you are following someone who wont get lost or stir it up.

Well I think I finally figured it out! Yep - I got it! Darrick is jealous of me. I don't know why I didn't see it sooner.
Don't worry Darrick - when you run low on air or are lost I will make sure I get you out ok.
I can hear whats coming next..."You know Steve, there is an easy way and there is a hard way and ultimately its up to you to make that decision" Well I say - Too Late :)

Hey and the good news is that since there are noobi's coming down to the mine we get to keep the tradition alive that the new guy has to get lunch!!!

Well well well, looks like I might like this group after all. Balls are breakin and shots are being taken before we even hit the road! My friend Alex and I will be representing the new guys along with SCUBA Steve aka Aqua Man, and Mark the "Russian Bear" MMA fighter look-a-like.
So are there any single ladies going?
Also Darrick, what's the deal on practicing swimming in the pools at FFC with snorkel, fins, boots and mask? Is the practice worth the chlorine damage to my gear? I do rinse it off well.

I wasn't quite sure what to think of someone that calls himself "the saint"! We'll have to see how well you dive!
You don't have to worry about the chlorine in the pool as long as you rinse your gear off afterwards.

it has been my "call name" since i came back from a few years in WI a bible thumper. i'm sure, but chicks might dig it. jurys still out.
I dive for s*** that's why I have joined Darrick's band of misfits... I need to learn. I've got the kick your feet to go fast part down...
