We  are tacking a cruise in march that stops at Grand Cayman, Belize, Cozumel, and Honduras. I am 14 years old and my dad and I are just getting certified. If we have to choose between locations, what should be our first choice?

I haven't been to Cayman or Honduras, But Cozumel and Belize are both excellent.  If I had to choose between the two I have been to, I would probably pick Cozumel between the two.  Seeing that you are relatively inexperienced, you don't have to fight the rocky ocean conditions you can experience in Belize, as most of the Cozumel dives are between Cozumel and the mainland.  There are countless dive sites near Cozumel and each opne is different.  That being said, the Blue Hole in Belize is always a crowd favorite, along with the turneffe dive locations, wiuth the Elbow being my personal favorite.

I have been to Cozumel, and it is great diving.  I have not been to Grand Caymen.  However, when I first asked that question when I started diving, I was told, go to Grand Caymen.  I was going to, but a huricane blew it away that year.

I was told to go there, because it has an excellent reef, 100ft viz, and very little current, which if you are doing your first Carribean dive, sounds like a good combination to me.  Cozumel is noted for its drift dives, which you are carried away on a current.  Lots of fun, but maybe not for a first time diving.
