Has anyone explored this ship in Lake Michigan.  I believe it is somewhere around Racine, WI.?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I looked in two books, the Shipwreck book of south west Lake Michigan by Capt. Dale Bennett and great Lakes Shipwrecks by Chris Kohl and could find no reference to this wreck in either authoritative texts.

There is a lot written about the Rousse Simmons, but it is better known as the Christmas Tree Ship due to its standard cargo in its final years.  It is a technical dive due to its depth of 155' to 168'.  It is mentioned in Chris Kohl's book "The Great Lakes Diving Guide", but there is also at least one book written about it, a play, and a song!  Do a search on the web for "the Christmas Tree Ship" and you will get a lot of hits.
