Hey everyone,
I've been fighting a nasty cold for the past two weeks. My nose is runny and I have a touch of a cough. The doctor says that I should be fine in a few days. I was wondering, how long should I wait to go scuba diving after I have a cold? Just curious.
Thanks guys!

Colds and alergies spike this time of year.  The host of our morning radio program commented today that tree pollen, grass pollen and mold spores in the air are at an all time high right now. I, myself, am fighting sinus  problems as a result.

Sinus discharge, sore throat, tiredness and related symptoms make diving problematic.  Afrin, pseudoephedrine and other drugs can be used by some divers with varied levels of success but the best response is to stay out of the water while you are feeling unwell.

I usually try to wait until I feel better and then wait another few days for insurance.
