I am so tired of overly compensated prima dona sports figures who are just scum bags! Micheal Vick has the world by the tail and is promoting dog fighting, Kobe Bryant escaping a rape conviction, NFL players with weapons charges, baseball players on steroids and denying it, Mike Tyson and the list goes on and on. No one in America has read the history books on why Rome fell and we are headed down the same path! I can't believe the American public supports this behavior by spending their money on over priced event tickets.
In my opinion ther there are only 4 true sports: Mountain climbing, Technical diving, Drag racing, and Bull fighting all others are child's games!

It depends first of all on your definition of SPORTS. Bass fishing has a Sports heading, as does bowling, skiing, golf, and many others. Should they be included as sports, or just the ones that you prefer, where life itself is on the line? If life -on-the-line is your criteria, then NASCAR, NHRA, should be included, (turn left, or no turns). If your definition of Sports is competition, then Archery, and Chess should be included. This could be a never-ending discussion.

I do agree that these Million dollar 'atheletes' get too much $$$$ and many are not deserving of it, or able to handle it. Some Soccer player in Ireland is having a Shark Tank installed in the floor of his kitchen!!! IRRESPOSIBLE!!!

I know everyone's opinion differs and I am just expressing my own views. I hardly expect everyone to agree with me. Bullfighting is different from dog fighting or rooster fighting in that when the bull is killed they use it to feed the poor. Has anyone ever been to a stockyard or on the killing floor of a meat packing plant? The treatment of animals will make you go vegetatarian! We are so far removed from this process that we never think about this when we are grilling our Sunday steak.
