TOPIC: 1989 Delta Dive Boat for Sale (12 PAX)

I have a Delta dive boat for sale.  Asking price is $28,000 and is negotiable.  Contact Michael (419)656-3290 or email at miclau@teddybare.com for more information and pictures.

The boat was in very good working order when it was pulled out of the water and winterized in October 2007.  Fuel filter, DAHL filter, oil filter and oil have all been changed.  The boat has never seen salt water, and it was recently repowered with a Caterpillar 3126 Diesel engine.  This is part of an estate sale and the boat is priced to sell.  The boat is dry docked on a yard trailer (included in sale) here in Marblehead, Ohio 43440 and the USCG COI’s is current.

Don’t know if you are familiar with the Delta boat, but it was designed and built to run dive trips.  The 28’ that we have is also a trailerable boat in that it has a 9.5’ beam.  With the new 350 Hp Cat diesel engine, the boat will make 25 knots with light crew, 3/4 fuel, and light seas.  With full crew (10 PAX), gear, 3/4 fuel, and light seas the boat will do 20 knots, but the cruising speed is 18 knots. Under the latter conditions is how we generally ran the boat, and the average fuel consumption over the course of a fishing day (no trolling) was 10-12 gph.  The boat is equipped with two (2) 60 gallon diesel tanks.
