My wife and I both divers and my 15 year old son a non diver are going to spend 5 nights in Florida durring the week of March 19th.

We are thinking either Fort Lauderdale, Key Largo or Marathon. I am looking for input from anyone on the fourm that have been to any of these locations.

My wife and I are looking to do some diving from boat and shore but also want things to do with our son. Any ideas?

Have you gone down lately?

I just spent a week in Tavernier (just south of Key Largo) diving with Conch Republic Divers. I highly reccomend them.

I am not the one who needs mental help. I just need to vent.

The Keys are great, but if you are not into diving or fishing or boating, there is not a lot to do in Key Largo or Tavernier.  I haven't spent much time in Ft. Lauderdale, but the non-diver might find more things there.
