I take a few diving trips every year and every time I get ready to go I feel like I'm missing something. I double check my gear but still leave the house wondering what I'm forgetting. I rarely forget anything...and anything I forget I can typically get wherever I go.

So I decided to spend some time putting together a very comprehensive checklist. Most of the items on this list will not apply to every trip, but the point was to develop a list that applies to anyone for any dive...be it a trip to Cozumel or a trip down to Haigh Quarry. If you go through this checklist and pack what applies to you, you should be all set for your trip.

Please take some time to review the checklist and tell me what might be forgetting. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Might want to add for those who have Prescription mask to bring a spare.
Have had People on trip have their mask damaged by others on the boat withweight belts, tanks or stepping
on their mask.
Nothing ruins a trip like not being able to see. If not a mask, know your prescrip. and check
with the resort to see if they have masks with Lenes that meet your needs just in case.
