Going to Cabo San Lucas May '09.  Can anyone recommend any dive operators? Any experiences you can share diving in this area?  I've heard you have to travel to La Paz for diving, but someone also told me there are shops in town in Cabo.

I have allways been interested in the Baja. I own several travel books but have never traveled on the peninsula. I dont know much about the diving conditions in this region except that I have heard that the diving in the Gulf of California off of La Paz is spectacular. Whales are common in this area but I don't know what time of year. I am assuming that most of the diving in Cabo is Pacific Ocean. The Pacific can be murky but there is usually alot of large animals to see. If anypne has any experience in this region I would also like to hear more about it. I am going to plan a trip to this area.
