I am just getting certified and am  planning a trip to Miami around Christmas.  Does anyone know of any good places for a beginning diver to go?

Not much good diving in Miami. You may want to head to the Key Largo. Lots of good places to go in Key Largo. I would recomend for a new diver who is looking for something other then a cattle boat go to Quiescence Diving. Good friendly bunch.

There are plenty of dive ops in the Keys. My favorite is Conch Republic in Tavernier (10 miles south of Key Largo).

I am not the one who needs mental help. I just need to vent.
