Diving Safaris Costa Rica is pleased to announce a unique diving adventure that will be offered starting in January, 2008: live aboard / multiple day dive and surf charters! Be first in the water and enjoy crowd-free dive sites and surf breaks while traveling in comfort aboard the Aquadesiac, a 48 foot replica of a classic Grand Banks trawler. The Aquadesiac has a cruising speed of 10 – 12 knots and is equipped with 3 staterooms (sleeps 6), 2 bathrooms with showers, a full kitchen and salon. Relax inside, on the comfortably cushioned bow deck, or up top on the sun deck with padded bench seating and shade. This boat meets all US Coast Guard safety standards and has additional safety features such as sonar, GPS, radar and autopilot for worry-free travel under any conditions. Aquadesiac also has all required permits for entering the national park waters of Costa Rica, where some of the best surfing and diving is available. Dive Catalinas, surf Playa Grande, dive Argentina and Virador, surf Witches Rock and Ollies Point and dive Bat islands. Enjoy the Pura Vida! This is the first local dive Liveaboard in Costa Rica.
