I'm looking for opinions on anyone that has used both and what you think?  It will be used for local diving, and some travel.  I did my advanced open water with the Recon and I really liked it.  Reading reviews everyone says that the Ranger is one of the best.  Unfortunately I'll be buying second hand and won't have the opportunity to try out the Ranger.  I guess what I'm asking is does the Ranger have any negatives in comparison to the Recon?
