 Hi. I'm new to scuba diving and was at Haigh Quarry this weekend. I met a few people from Midwest Scuba Diving Magazine and got a copy of their magazine. For a first issue, I think it turned out great. Actually, for any issue, I think it is great.

Anyways, I dove three times today and had a great time. As a new diver, I'd love to hear some recommendations on other great locations for new divers. I live in Chicago and just finished my Advanced certification!

 If you live in Chicago, you ought to join us at the Chicago Scuba Meetup Group!  We meet online at Meetup.com and then once a month at the Goose Island Brewery,  1800 N. Clybourn Ave.  Our next meeting is on Wednesday, June 14th at 7:00.  If you were at Haigh on Sunday, you might have seen us hogging space near the first dock for one of our meetup events.  Hope to see you!
