I have about 40 dives and have never dove on any shipwrecks in Lake Michigan. Is there anything interesting and safe for an inexpierienced diver? What months do you dive the Lake? Can we still dive now? Is a drysuit required?

The Fleetwing @ Garret Bay is a great shore dive and shallow enough to snorkel.
The Frank O'Connor is a club favorite and only about 70 ft. deep.
Deeper club favorites include the Ocean Wave, America and the Daniel Lyons.
And all theses wrecks have Wisconsin Historical Society buoys on them allowing easy boat mooring.

Fleet Wing look like a fun dive.  Are group might be plainning a ice dive comming up.  Easy access .  I am looking forward to it.  I dived my first year on Lake Michigan.  Lots of excellent shipwrecks.  The Northerner was one of my favorite along with the Brig Mahoning.  So much to see and yet to discover.
