 We are new to diving and hope to get certified by summer time. We spend a few weeks each summer in Glen Arbor, MI near the Sleeping Bear Dunes on Lake Michigan. The Manitou Islands are several miles out in the lake. Is anyone aware of diving sites, charters, or guides up in that part of the Midwest?

 I haven't been there yet, but I understand that Traverse City has charters that go out there.
