How much money can I expect to make as a divemaster? I'm planning on doing some weekend work when I'm in Florida this summer with a dive service. Does anyone know what the average rate of pay for a divemaster is?

You may find it difficult or impossible to get temporary work as a dive master for actual pay.  Most people working as divemasters have other skills for which they are being paid.  They are instructors, boat captains, repair technicians or even store salesmen.  If all you can offer is a dive master certification you may be able to get a position as a dive master on a boat where you can work for tips, but there is quite a bit of competition for even those jobs.
