Hello all,
I'm going to take my ikelite underwater housing for my canon dslr with me on a trip to Florida. I just wanted to know if there are any extra cleaning tips for dealing with saltwater in camera equipment. I'd hate to not know something so obvious and end up losing my expensive camera.

Thanks for all of your help!

rinse completely, dry off before opening on a dry table away from the rinse tank.

Keep an eye on the o-ring! watch for pinches, and grime! Clean off and grime, and replace when dammaged! This will keep out the water. Make sure your lever to close the case is in working order.
Take the case to depth on your first outing with it, leave the camera topside. This will test the seal of the case, and protect the expensive part of your purchase.

Good luck!!
