A couple years ago, I bought the Ikelite camera housing for my Sony CD-300 MiniCD digital camera (http://www.ikelite.com/web_pages/cd300sony.html). It works great and I love the camera too (I can take a couple hundred 3.5 Megapixel pics on 1 CD). Anyways, I definitely need to get strobes. Has anyone bought them for their camera? Do you recommend a brand...Ikelite seems like the obvious choice. And then do I buy a single (is that enough) or do I get the double strobes. Ikelite recommends the following: http://www.ikelite.com/web_pages/umanstrobe.html. One more question...while on the Ikelite site, I saw they recommend Inon UWL-100, Epoque and Sea & Sea lenses (http://www.ikelite.com/web_pages/inonsony400.html). Anyone have a preference?

For a basic and reliable strobe rated to 200ft I'd recommend the Sealife SL960D along with the optional diffuser.  It comes with the mounting arm and a nice padded case that will accommodate your camera & housing, too.  It is designed to work with any digital camera, and can be set up to sync up with cameras that use red eye reduction preflashes, or those where that feature can be turned off.

I bought mine from B&H Photo and Video on-line for $299.  Just Goggle them.  Or, next time you're in New York check out their retail store.  It is HUGE and has virtually anything and everything you need.

After making my purchase (along with an Olympus camera and housing) I noticed that Scuba.Com has it for about $30 less.
