Do you do a lot of photography now?  What is your budget?  I think that is the issue.  Housings can be very expensive but you have a lot more camera options with that.  But if you are like me, a point and shoot camera would work just fine.

I bought a Panasonic Lumix-smaller model land camera- and they sell the housing for about $250. I can't find a strobe to fit the top of the housing through Panasonic so I have to look elsewhere. It is a nice camera and was recommended by quite a few friends that own one.
